A historic yakitori restaurant “Torisee Shijo-Kiyamachi”

“Torisee Shijo-Kiyamachi,” located just a 2-minute walk from Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station and Gion-Shijo Station, is the first store of the Torisee brand. For about 60 years, it has been cherished by both locals and visitors to Kyoto. We invite you to enjoy our proudly crafted chicken dishes.

Our Commitment to Chicken Cuisine

A wide variety of chicken dishes, from yakitori to specialty items

At Torisei Shijo Kiyamachi, you can enjoy a wide variety of chicken dishes, including our signature yakitori, prepared with techniques inspired by Kyoto cuisine. Please savor dishes that bring out the rich flavor of chicken, such as our assorted skewers featuring various cuts, and our Original Fried Chicken, with an addictive kick of chili pepper.

Kyoto flavors including the renowned nama-genshu sake ‘Shinsei’

You can enjoy “Shinsei,” a nama-genshu sake from Fushimi, Kyoto. Its rich, unfiltered character pairs exceptionally well with chicken dishes. We also offer other fine sake such as ginjo “Kaguyahime” and daiginjo “Matsu no Midori,” allowing you to choose according to your preference.

Savor Kyo-Gamo (Kyoto Duck)
Shabu-shabu and Sukiyaki

We also highly recommend our duck hot pot, which can be enjoyed year-round. We offer "Kyo-Gamo Shabu-shabu" (4,800 yen per serving), featuring a light yet savory flavor, and "Kyo-Gamo Sukiyaki" (4,400 yen per serving), enjoyed with a raw egg for a mild, smooth taste. Please enjoy the elegant flavor unique to Kyo-Gamo, together with our signature chicken dishes.
